We're hiring an In-House Lead Video Editor to join our creative team in our San Diego office(downtown area location). You'll be the go-to editor for iterations, compilations, promotional ads and special projects, and lead our overseas editing video editors to deliver high-performing, compliant, on-brand work. You'll also handle quality control and spellcheck videos in our Production Tracker before the Director of Creative Production reviews for final approval. You'll ensure vendor invoices are accurate and on time. This is a full-time, in-person role reporting to the Director of Creative Production. Responsibilities

Editing & Production

Be the go-to editor for promotional ads, Influencer Campaigns, top-priority deliverables, and special projects. Edit paid media iterations based on clear direction from the Director of Creative Production. Edit DTC UGC-style videos optimized for performance (AI voiceovers, text overlays, long-hook text, talking heads, compilations, etc.). Re-edit/re-iterate past videos to align with current and future compliance standards. Maintain impeccable spellcheck and on-screen text accuracy across assets Execute ad-hoc production tasks as needed to keep projects moving Edit assets for future seamless usage for all video editors (match-cuts, graphics) Team Lead

Manage overseas editors: give notes, uphold brand/performance standards. Own monthly invoice accuracy for overseas editors; reconcile hours, deliverables, and rates. Uphold and refine file-naming, versioning, and library organization standards. Relay feedback from the Director of Creative Production to video editors- translate direction into clear, actionable edit notes. Quality, Speed & Compliance

Hit rapid turnarounds while maintaining

frame-level detail . Ensure exports are properly formatted, compressed, and optimized per

platform specs . Proactively flag any technical issues with videos, such as volume issues, glitches, black frames etc before final approval of the

DCP Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of professional video editing experience (brand or agency), with DTC/performance marketing work in portfolio.
