Sr. Manager, Brand Marketing (Hybrid)

Overview The Foot Locker marketing team is the heartbeat of the company, uniquely positioned to bring cross‑functional departments together to develop and execute marketing programs. As the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing you will shape and drive the brand’s long‑term strategy to strengthen market position, grow brand equity, and deepen consumer connection. The role focuses on brand storytelling, positioning, and creating innovative marketing campaigns that drive engagement and cultural relevance. You will work cross‑functionally to develop and execute brand initiatives that build Foot Locker’s presence in the market with Creative, Product, and Merchandising partners and external agencies. A keen understanding of the retail and consumer landscape is essential to keep the brand aspirational, differentiated, and aligned with key consumer trends.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of brand positioning, messaging, and marketing strategies that elevate the brand and resonate with key consumer segments
Own brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all marketing channels
Develop toolkits and brand marketing guidelines to support local execution
Partner with creative teams to develop compelling brand narratives that drive storytelling across digital, social, in‑store, and experiential touchpoints
Oversee brand campaigns that drive awareness and relevance, ensuring execution aligns with business goals and key brand moments
Manage and lead partnerships with agencies to drive innovative storytelling and consumer engagement
Leverage research to inform brand strategies and identify whitespace opportunities
Analyze consumer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform brand strategy and positioning
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field (preferred)
Minimum of 2 years experience as a people manager
Passionate about sneakers, sneaker culture, and/or the retail industry
Minimum of 5 years experience in brand marketing, preferably in retail, fashion, or consumer goods
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Presentation software experience especially in PowerPoint; Keynote a plus
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite helpful
Knowledgeable in AirTable
Deep understanding of brand strategy, consumer behavior, and cultural trends
Experience managing external agencies
Strong creative acumen and ability to translate brand vision into compelling marketing campaigns
Ability to manage and execute campaigns and budgets of $10M+
Experience leading integrated, multi‑channel brand campaigns with measurable impact
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working across creative, digital, and product teams
Proven ability to manage agency partners and external stakeholders
Benefits The annual base salary range is $105,000 – $120,000. This role is also eligible for short‑term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
