Position Overview Interior Designer – Home Office, Bonita Springs, FL. Manage interior design and FFE processes for renovation and new development projects, collaborating with architects, brand strategists, graphic designers and other consultants to deliver cohesive design solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with the team to determine design preferences, purpose, branding, budget and other factors for multi‑family senior living environments.

Maintain quality and consistency of design outcomes.

Liaise between contractors, design team, ownership, operations and capital partners.

Ensure a thoughtful and efficient turnover of completed projects to operations.

Direct and mentor other designers on the team.

Develop design concepts that meet project needs and objectives.

Lead design and procurement for renovation projects, coordinating vendors and subcontractors for millwork, fixtures, accessories, draperies, materials and colors.

Collaborate on new design ideas and research trends, providing direction to external architects, designers, branding, art, marketing and graphic design consultants.

Develop space plans, elevations, sketches and architectural details illustrating design intent and material usage.

Conduct research and selection of products and systems, finishes and furniture.

Create plans, elevations and architectural details illustrating design intent and material usage.

Review design documents for accuracy and thoroughness.

Prepare budget outlines, assist in project cost management and monitor budget throughout the project.

Oversee FF&E processes, including selection, procurement and installation.

Confirm product specifications meet proposed application, budget and schedule; recommend value engineering options.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited interior design or architecture program.

Minimum 5–7 years of broad design experience emphasizing multi‑family and/or hospitality projects.

Experience with upscale multi‑family and hospitality projects in mixed‑use, urban settings.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite and reading construction documents.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong understanding of building systems, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and structural design.

Leadership experience managing design teams.

Preferred: NCIDQ certification, LEED AP, IIDA or ASID membership.

Competencies

Conceptual and design development expertise.

Knowledge of project delivery processes: space planning, construction documentation, construction administration, furniture and lighting specification.

Strong organizational and self‑management skills.

Detailed knowledge of furnishings, finishes and manufacturing details.

Ability to sketch and visualize design solutions.

Application of codes and ADA standards to design and construction documents.

Collaborative leadership style valuing relationships with internal and external partners.

Physical Requirements Travel up to 50% of the time. Requires ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform tasks involving hands and arms.
