About the Role
We are looking for a Job Captain III to join a collaborative architecture team focused on high-density multifamily housing, including podium and wrap projects. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technical coordination and delivering high-quality design documentation.
Responsibilities
Produce complete Construction Documents from SD through CA phases.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and agencies to resolve design and technical issues.
Prepare detailed plans, sections, and specifications using Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
Research codes (IBC, CBC, ADA/FHA), manage permit submittals, and ensure compliance.
Oversee quality control, scheduling, and project documentation standards.
Support Construction Administration by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and attending site visits.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Job Captain or Technical Design on podium and wrap multifamily projects.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and MS Office.
Strong understanding of construction types I–V and multifamily building systems.
Knowledge of building codes and accessibility standards (IBC, CBC, ADA/FHA).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture; licensure or active pursuit preferred.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Experience
Work on mid-rise podium and wrap projects at 100+ units/acre density.
Familiarity with mass timber or high-rise systems.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
