
Content Strategist
Pantera Capital is the first institutional investment firm focused exclusively on bitcoin, other digital currencies, and companies in the blockchain tech ecosystem. Pantera launched the first cryptocurrency fund in the United States when bitcoin was at $65 /BTC in 2013. The firm subsequently launched the first exclusively-blockchain venture fund. In 2017, Pantera was the first firm to offer an early‑stage token fund. Pantera manages $5.6bn across three strategies – passive, hedge, and venture – exclusively focused on bitcoin, other digital currencies, and companies in the blockchain tech ecosystem.
We are seeking to expand our content marketing initiatives with research‑driven, thought‑leadership content. The ideal candidate is experienced in crafting compelling, high‑impact content, preferably within the crypto, fund management, or venture capital space. This individual will play a key role in developing and executing content strategies that support capital formation and strengthen Pantera’s position as a leading voice in the blockchain industry. The role involves close collaboration with the Content, Systematic Marketing, and Capital Formation teams, as well as direct support to the Founder, Managing Partner. The position requires in‑office presence in our New York office four days per week.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and Compose the monthly Pantera Blockchain Letter
Serve as managing editor—set editorial themes, guide contributions from the investment and research teams, and author or co‑author timely essays that advance industry dialogue.
Independently write or co‑author timely thought‑leadership pieces.
Partner with the social media team to amplify content across various marketing digital channels (X, LinkedIn, etc.).
Capital Formation Content Ownership
Partner with the Capital Formation team to craft investor‑focused materials, fund narratives, and thematic campaigns that highlight Pantera’s investment strategy and market insights.
Serve as a repository for firm information and a go‑to resource for marketing materials.
Sales Emails and Thematic Mailings
Leverage key themes and market trends to develop compelling thematic campaigns.
Compose sales emails using key fund talking points and strategic messaging.
Founder & Media Support
Ensure founder and senior leadership team is well equipped with talking points for all media appearances, conferences, and conference calls.
Coordinate with event organizers to shape conversation flow and topic selection.
Pantera Blog and Research Pieces
Collaborate with the Platform, Investment, and Research teams on publishing content beyond the Blockchain Letter.
Work with the social media team to amplify blog posts and research across digital channels.
Write compelling standalone articles to publish on the Pantera blog.
Content Analytics and Refinement
Track performance metrics and continuously evolve content strategy to maximize engagement and influence.
Support Ad Hoc Content Initiatives and Special Projects as Needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
5 to 10 years of relevant work experience
Previous experience in content marketing, research, writing, communications
Knowledgeable and passionate about blockchain/cryptocurrency technology
Exceptional verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
Excellent personnel, management, and time management skills
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), HubSpot
Attention to detail and concern for quantitative accuracy.
$150,000 - $170,000 USD
Compensation range is provided as an estimate and will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
