Job Summary This position is primarily to work on a high-profile web application project within the Child Care and Child Welfare (CCCW) section of DCF. Multiple projects are underway, including an enterprise-wide migration to a unified authentication platform using Okta, requiring strong experience with OIDC and implementation of secure authentication flows and project-sensitive APIs using access tokens; experience with identity and access management platforms such as Okta is preferred. Other projects include .NET MVC and .NET 8 web applications with JavaScript, Blazor, and Kendo UI components. The portfolio largely modernizes legacy mainframe applications to web applications using ASP.NET MVC, C#, Web API, n-tier architecture, and SQL Server. This developer will join an existing team and work on additional projects as needed.

Responsibilities
Work closely with the team in designing and developing the front end and server side of the web application.
Perform requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and code reviews.
Develop using JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC with C#, and databases such as SQL Server, DB2, and Oracleli>
Write quality code using TDD, participate in active code reviews, communicate respectfully, and maintain technical documentation.
Provide production support as required.
Utilize automated testing methodologies and continuous integration platforms such as GitLab or Jenkins.
Qualifications
DB2 Mainframe experience, COBOL language, or experience modernizing mainframe COBOL applications into .NET or other modern languages.
xPression experience.
iOS, Objective‑C, and Swift experience.
Front-end web app UI design experience.
Front-end web frameworks including Angular, React, Vue.js, Alpine.js, Blazor Server, or similar.
Kendo UI experience.
Crystal Reports or Telerik Reports experience.
Familiarity with applications running in IIS.
Familiarity with PowerShell and/or experience configuring CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps Artifacts.
