The Pinnacle Companies

At Collective Design, we are more than just a company – we are a family that breathes life into the art of luxury home design. Renowned for our exquisite architecture, interior design, and furnishings, we have made our mark in the Rocky Mountains and are rapidly expanding our reach across the nation. Our mantra, “Enhancing the Lives of Others”, is at the core of everything we do.

Pinnacle is a place for people who take pride in their work, bring their whole selves to the table, and believe excellence and optimism aren’t simple acts, but daily habits. We’re looking for people who lean into challenges, own their outcomes, believe in the possible, and show up for their community.

The question is simple: Are you someone who thrives where expectations are high, accountability is real, courage is celebrated, and relationships run deep? If so, we’d love to meet you.

The Role We are seeking a Lead Interior Designer to drive the creative and technical success of our most sophisticated residential projects. This role blends creative leadership with strategic project management, guiding teams from concept through installation with clarity, confidence, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership: Oversee the complete design lifecycle — from initial concept through documentation, procurement, and installation — ensuring creative integrity and operational precision at every stage.

Creative Direction: Shape project concepts and design language that align with the firm’s aesthetic and strategic goals. Guide design intent with clarity, structure, and accountability.

Client Experience: Lead client presentations, articulate design rationale with confidence, and manage relationships with professionalism and discretion.

Team Mentorship: Provide direction, feedback, and coaching to design team members. Model excellence, consistency and a solution-oriented mindset.

Project Management: Establish and monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with scope.

Technical Oversight: Review and approve all drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure quality control and design integrity.

Collaboration: Partner closely with architecture and construction teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution.

Innovation & Standards: Contribute to firm-wide design systems and standards that improve efficiency, elevate design quality, and strengthen Collective Design’s competitive edge.

Who You Are

Strategic & Results-Driven: You see the big picture and manage the details that bring it to life. You lead decisively and execute with precision.

Creative Leader: You bring a strong design point of view and the ability to translate vision into clear, actionable direction.

Technically Fluent: You have a deep understanding of construction, documentation, and custom detailing, ensuring design excellence through all phases.

Organized & Accountable: You manage complexity with discipline and deliver results consistently.

Mentor & Motivator: You empower others to perform at their best through clear guidance, high standards, and professional development.

Professional & Composed: You handle client interactions and challenges with confidence, diplomacy, and integrity.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in residential interior design, with a strong portfolio of luxury or custom home projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (preferred).

Proven experience leading design teams and managing large-scale, high-budget projects.
