The Pinnacle Companies
At Collective Design, we are more than just a company - we are a family that breathes life into the art of luxury home design. Renowned for our exquisite architecture, interior design, and furnishings, we have made our mark in the Rocky Mountains and are rapidly expanding our reach across the nation. Our mantra, “Enhancing the Lives of Others”, is at the core of everything we do, from our groundbreaking designs to our deep, personal connections with each client. We invite you to be part of our journey as we redefine luxury living, one home at a time.

The Role The Associate Designer is an integral part of the project team, contributing to both the creative and technical aspects of design. You will support concept development, produce detailed documentation, coordinate vendors and specifications, and help ensure that each project is delivered seamlessly, from idea to installation. This position is ideal for a designer who enjoys balancing creative problem‑solving with structured, detail‑oriented work in a collaborative, high‑performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design Documentation: Produce and maintain accurate floor plans, elevations, schedules, and specifications that clearly communicate design intent and support project execution.
Concept & Visualization: Participate in the creative development of projects—contributing ideas, renderings, and material selections that align with the design vision.
Sourcing & Specification: Research and document furnishings, fixtures, and finishes that balance aesthetic goals with practical considerations such as budget, performance, and lead times.
Technical Accuracy: Ensure all drawings and documentation meet firm standards for quality, clarity, and constructability.
Procurement Coordination: Track orders, vendor communications, and delivery timelines to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
Presentation Development: Support the creation of client‑facing presentations that are visually compelling and professionally polished.
Project Collaboration: Work closely with Lead Designers to maintain project momentum, communicate updates, and uphold quality at every stage.
Onsite Support: Participate in installations, punch lists, and final styling to help bring each space to life with precision and care.
Who You Are
Creative & Analytical: You enjoy design exploration but also value order, structure, and follow‑through.
Detail-Oriented: You notice the small things that make a big difference, from technical accuracy to material alignment.
Organized & Reliable: You manage tasks efficiently and maintain consistency across multiple projects and timelines.
Collaborative & Professional: You work well in a team setting, communicate clearly, and represent the firm with poise.
Solution-Focused: You anticipate challenges, think strategically, and approach problems with a balanced mix of creativity and logic.

3–5 years of experience in residential interior design or similar project-based design support.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and related documentation tools.
