Core Responsibilities

1. Local Content Creation and Hit Works Development in the U.S.Gain in-depth insights into the demand, user preferences and cultural characteristics of the U.S. local short drama market, lead the direction of short drama content creative planning, and focus on market-potential themes (such as family light comedies, workplace inspirational dramas, suspense micro-mysteries, etc.). Lead the editorial team to complete script writing and polishing, control the content value orientation, plot rhythm and narrative style, with the core goal of creating top-tier hit short dramas in the industry, and enhance the market popularity and reputation of the works.

2. Full-process Content Quality Control ManagementCollaborate with the production team to formulate shooting plans adapted to the U.S. market, supervise the scene presentation, actor performance and progress control in the shooting process to ensure that the shooting content conforms to the core setting of the script. Simultaneously coordinate with the post-production team to clarify the production standards such as editing logic, special effect style and dubbing adaptation, and control the content quality from creative implementation to finished product output through the whole chain, so as to ensure the works meet the production requirements of top-tier content.

4. Full-chain Team Management and CoordinationEstablish the organizational structure of major teams including editorial team, production team and post-production team, and be responsible for personnel recruitment, talent echelon construction and performance management. Clarify the division of labor and cooperation process of each team in links such as content creation, shooting and production, post-production optimization and distribution implementation, and connect the whole chain of short drama production. Formulate team development goals, and improve the professional capabilities of team members through technical guidance and business training, so as to gather team strength to support the business development of the studio.

5. Industry Strategy and Brand BuildingContinuously pay attention to the dynamics of the U.S. and global short drama industries, and master the cutting-edge short drama production concepts, communication modes and technical trends. Combine industry trends and the studio's advantages to formulate medium and long-term business development strategies and plan the creation direction of top-tier content. Rely on the achievements of hit works and localized operation to enhance the studio's brand influence in the U.S. short drama field and expand business cooperation and growth space.

Job Requirements

(1) Education and Experience

ExperienceAt least 5 years of working experience in the short drama, short video or film and television industry, including at least 3 years of team management experience (must have management experience in at least two types of teams among editorial, production and post-production teams). Have a deep understanding of the U.S. short drama market ecology, and those with relevant experience in content creation, production or distribution of U.S. local short dramas are preferred, and proficient in the whole process operation of short dramas from creativity to distribution.

AchievementsHave practical experience in creating at least 2 top-tier hit works with both high playback volume and high topic popularity in the U.S. local market or the global English short drama market, and be able to clearly analyze the creative logic and operation path of localized hit works.

Localized Content Creation and Judgment AbilityAccurately grasp the cultural context, user aesthetics and market demand of the U.S. local market, and have keen theme mining and content judgment ability. Be able to lead the creative planning and script polishing of top-tier short dramas, ensure that the content is in line with the local market, and have a differentiated competitive advantage.

2. All-dimensional Resource Integration and Implementation AbilityPossess rich U.S. local self-produced film resources, including shooting locations, professional production equipment, actors adapted to the local market and post-production teams, and at the same time have high-quality distribution channel resources. Be able to efficiently integrate various resources to support the full-process localized implementation of short drama projects from creativity to distribution.

3. Cross-team Overall Planning and Collaboration AbilityBe familiar with the whole chain process of short drama content creation, shooting and production, post-production optimization and distribution communication, and have excellent overall planning ability. Be able to effectively coordinate the editorial team, production team, post-production team and U.S. local external partners, solve various problems in collaboration, and ensure the efficient progress of the project and the output of top-tier content.
