About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Content Marketing to serve as the editorial lead and program strategist for a wide range of content requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a holistic vision for the content program, developing a comprehensive content plan, and owning the content strategy and editorial calendar. This role requires a deep understanding of the audience and behavioral trends, with a focus on client engagement at all phases of the buyer process. The VPCM will also be tasked with translating the brand and product value propositions into content themes and marketing assets, driving strategic content marketing, and developing and leading a team of digital, automation, and sales enablement members.
Applicants must have a B.A./B.S. degree, with an advanced degree being a plus, and at least 8 years of experience in marketing communications and contemporary inbound marketing techniques. A proven track record in developing provocative messaging campaigns, exceptional SEO results, and experience in innovative content generation is essential. The role demands excellent communication and storytelling skills, the ability to work within a CMS system, and experience in generating and managing user-generated content. The ideal candidate will have a background in B2B marketing, be adept at developing integrated marketing campaigns, and have a strong focus on metrics and processes. Experience in marketing cloud technology is preferred, and the role requires a leader who can collaborate with key stakeholders and mentor team members.
