About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager who is a true full‑stack marketer—someone who can think strategically, execute independently, and manage every part of our marketing engine for the Kuali Academic Operations suite.
As Senior Marketing Manager, you will own the complete marketing lifecycle: develop positioning and messaging, write website copy, produce content, run email and ad campaigns, build ABM programs, host webinars, manage PR opportunities, and support sales enablement. This role combines product marketing and demand generation, requiring an individual who is energized by both strategy and hands‑on execution.
You will collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success, while serving as the primary marketing owner for Academic Ops. Your work will have a direct impact on brand perception, the sales pipeline, and customer engagement. This role is fully remote.
What You’ll Be Responsible For Core Responsibilities
Develop clear, differentiated messaging for the Academic Ops suite
Write website copy, product pages, and value‑proposition language
Create narratives that resonate with higher‑ed administrators and leaders
Content & Campaign Execution
Produce compelling content: blogs, guides, email sequences, one‑pagers, decks, video scripts, and more
Build and run email campaigns, nurture programs, and multi‑touch funnels
Develop targeted Account‑Based Marketing (ABM) programs
Digital & Demand Generation
Plan and manage digital advertising campaigns across relevant channels
Optimize ad performance, landing pages, and conversion paths
Measure and report on campaign results and ROI
Events, Webinars & Product Launches
Host or co‑host webinars, virtual events, and product‑related sessions
Plan and execute product and feature launches
Create sales enablement materials and competitive positioning
Collaborate with Sales on ideal customer profiles and go‑to‑market alignment
Support Customer Success with messaging and content as needed
Communication & PR
Identify and support PR or thought leadership opportunities
Ensure consistent, values‑aligned brand presence across platforms
About You
You align with Kuali’s values: curiosity, openness, accountability, humility, and a commitment to amazing experiences
You are a full‑stack marketer with both strategic thinking and hands‑on execution skills
You’re a resourceful self‑starter who can take a broad vision and translate it into coordinated, high‑quality deliverables
You communicate clearly and build trust quickly across teams
You handle shifting priorities and fast‑changing situations with resilience
You thrive in a remote environment and know how to create connections across distributed teams
You’re comfortable being the “doer of last resort” when needed
You’ve owned multi‑channel campaigns in resource‑constrained environments where outcomes mattered more than ego
Required Qualifications
5+ years of marketing experience
in product marketing, content marketing, go‑to‑market, or similar roles at a B2B SaaS company
Proficiency with
HubSpot
Experience with Google
Workspace ,
Slack , and
Zoom
Demonstrated ability to lead marketing initiatives across strategy, content, campaigns, and analytics
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing customer‑facing content

5+ years working in or with higher education administration
Opportunity to work with smart, passionate people to build a high‑growth, highly profitable SaaS company
Flexible remote work with no expectation of returning to an office setting
A truly exceptional benefits package, including 100% company‑paid medical and dental insurance
100% 401(k) matching up to 4%
Paid maternity/parental leave
Flexible PTO—no accrual limits, no “use it or lose it.” Just work with your manager to make sure the team’s covered, and take the time you need to recharge.
Encouragement and support for ongoing learning and skill development
Recognition platform to celebrate contributions with meaningful incentives
Company retreats to connect, recharge, and collaborate
