Essential Functions: Utilize Mentor PADS software to incorporate schematic, mechanical, and manufacturing inputs into new and revised rigid, flex, and rigid-flex designs.

Collaborate with the cross-functional design team to resolve fabrication, assembly, and test issues identified through Valor NPI fabrication and manufacturing checks.

Create PCB stackups using Polar Speedstack and model-controlled impedance with Polar Si9000.

Create and maintain PCB layout design guidelines.

Participate in peer design reviews of PCB layouts.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Knowledge of the PCB design value chain: schematics, materials, fabrication, assembly, and related design and simulation software tools

Knowledge of SMT and through-hole electronic components and packages

Experience working directly with multiple engineering disciplines and functions, e.g., electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, supply chain, purchasing, etc.

Knowledge with PCB design software

Understanding working with a PLM tool

Proficient with Microsoft Office tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams
