The AAM Group is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable

Marketing & Training Manager

to support the growth and success of the

Diesel Pro Network , our newest program being created to support the community of diesel performance resellers and installers across North America. This role is ideal for a capable communicator who understands the diesel aftermarket, values networking, and is passionate about creating meaningful content that empowers local brick‑and‑mortar businesses.

About the Role As the Marketing & Training Manager for Diesel Pro Network, you will work directly with

AAM member distributors, supplier partners, and jobbers

to develop training programs, marketing materials, and educational content that strengthen product knowledge, improve sales capability, and enhance customer engagement at the local level.

You will serve as a key connector between manufacturers and the reseller/installer community—translating complex technical information into clear, impactful resources that help shops succeed in today’s competitive diesel market.

Key Responsibilities Training Development & Delivery

Create engaging training content on diesel performance products, installation techniques, and market trends (various media, including on‑camera video).

Deliver live and virtual training sessions for AAM members, suppliers, and jobber partners.

Partner with suppliers to translate technical product details into easy‑to‑use materials or sessions for frontline staff.

Marketing & Content Creation

Develop marketing assets that promote diesel performance products at the reseller and installer level, to possibly include:

Social media assets

Point‑of‑sale materials

Promotional videos

Email and web content

Coordinate with AAM’s internal marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.

Coordinate with AAM’s Supplier Partner relations team to assure marketing alignment with group goals for each partner.

Support product launches and promotions for suppliers and AAM members.

Industry Collaboration

Work closely with AAM member distributors and supplier partners to understand market needs and training gaps.

Gather insights from shops and installers to inform content strategy.

Represent the Diesel Pro Network at trade shows, training events, and industry meetings as needed.

Qualifications

Experience in

marketing, training, technical communication , or a related field.

Strong understanding of the

diesel aftermarket , including performance parts and accessories.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Ability to translate technical information into practical, usable training tools.

Proficiency in digital content creation (video, graphics, instructional materials) is a strong plus.

Comfortable working with cross‑functional teams (marketing, suppliers, distributors).

Ability to travel for events, training, and member visits (10‑15% of the year).
