We believe building engineering is more than systems and structures; it’s about powering progress and enabling innovation. As part of HDR’s Building Engineering Services Group, you’ll help design the critical infrastructure that supports the digital age, from high‑performance data centers driving the future of AI to dynamic commercial environments. Your work will directly support technological advancement, sustainability, and human experience.
Responsibilities
Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation, and graphic presentation.
Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout, and drainage design.
Execute routine engineering assignments using standard techniques and procedures.
Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
Work independently on specific design tasks or assist more senior engineers on larger assignments.
Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Candidates hired without an EIT will receive the title “Site Civil Designer” and are expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
Familiarity with Civil3D.
Local candidates preferred.
