As a Lead Product Designer, you will be responsible for shaping the visual and interactive elements of our products across various platforms. You will be responsible for collaborating with multiple partners to design user‑centric solutions that address real‑world problems and enhance the overall user experience.

About the role

Lead end‑to‑end design for products, from ideation and conceptualization to detailed UX/UI design, prototyping, and final production

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define product strategy and create intuitive user interfaces

Facilitate design critiques and workshops to foster a feedback culture and ensure design quality

Own the product design strategy and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of design vision

Work with user researchers to conduct usability testing to inform design decisions and iterate on design solutions based on user feedback and business objectives

Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high‑fidelity designs to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions

Design and refine visual systems and patterns that can scale across platforms and devices (mobile, web, etc.)

Create high‑fidelity designs and work with developers to ensure a smooth and high‑quality implementation of designs

Stay up to date on design trends, tools, and industry best practices to ensure that our products maintain a competitive edge in terms of usability and visual appeal

Advocate for user‑centric design by conducting empathy exercises, leveraging data and user feedback, and delivering an exceptional product experience

Contribute to and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across the company's product portfolio

Mentor a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and promoting a culture of creativity and collaboration

About you Minimum Qualifications

7 years of experience in product design

Experience working on consumer‑facing products, with a portfolio demonstrating strong design expertise across mobile and web platforms

Proficiency in industry‑standard design tools

Strong understanding of interaction design, visual hierarchy, and typography

Ability to translate complex problems into simple, elegant solutions

Experience conducting and incorporating user research and usability testing into design iterations

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for the user experience

Familiarity with front‑end development concepts

Experience working within or contributing to design systems

Preferred Qualifications

Deep systems‑thinking expertise to refine, and manage modular design systems, transforming fragmented patterns into coherent, reusable components that support multi‑platform experiences

Ability to facilitate collaborative design strategy sessions such as tear‑downs, ideation workshops, and stakeholder‑friendly alignment meetings to uncover opportunities, validate assumptions, and translate insights into clear, prioritized product roadmaps

Independently able to investigate product performance metrics using Amplitude to detect UX/UI pain points, translating quantitative findings into actionable recommendations that shaped design direction and roadmap priorities

Experience working with data‑driven design and A/B testing to optimize user experiences

Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles

Knowledge of motion design or ability to create micro‑interactions to enhance user experience

Knowledge of design thinking methodologies and agile product development processes

Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Colorado, New York City, New Jersey, Jersey City, California, D.C and Washington Candidates only: the compensation for this position is $151,500.00-$341,000.00. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives, and other employment‑related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K retirement plan, and paid‑time off. The information regarding compensation and other benefits included in this paragraph is only an estimate and is subject to revision from time to time as the Company, in its sole and exclusive discretion, deems appropriate. The Company may determine during its review of the proposed compensation and benefits provided for this position that the compensation and benefits for such position should be reduced.
