Telecommunications Project Manager

Overview Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington, NM. Responsibilities include leading OSP projects, managing resources, budgets, risks, and cross‑functional communication.
Construction and Telecom experience required.
Responsibilities
Assist OSP Design Engineers with tracking reporting and key metrics to help them understand production and milestone status for various projects.
Lead assigned projects to completion ensuring timely delivery, budgetary adherence, and overall project ownership.
Use formal processes and tools to handle resources, budgets, risks and changes.
Communicate with cross‑functional teams including external representatives and other resources to coordinate activities to achieve goals.
Develop, maintain and lead detailed project plans, action item registers and major milestone timelines for all assigned projects.
Host cross‑functional project meetings to get weekly updates on fiber builds and final activations.
Coordinate resources and develop and maintain regular contact with vendors for support and services.
Maintain data integrity across databases using v‑lookup and other comparison tools.
Perform general data mining to generate visual reports to key stakeholders.
Learn and develop an understanding of all systems tools and processes (reporting capacity, ticketing tools, etc.) that support workflow of projects and suggest improvements.
Work with both construction and planning and design team managing tasks assigned.
Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Site walkouts to meet with Business Partners and other municipalities.
Skills / Qualifications
Prior construction experience, fiber and/or coax.
Ability to drive projects to completion.
Ability to track and report on milestones.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Organized, detail oriented and personable.
Job Type & Location Contract to Hire, Farmington, NM.
Pay and Benefits Pay range: $50.00 – $50.00/hr.
