Objective
Responsible to build and grow census and quality mix by developing the market and providing prospective patients and/or responsible parties with appropriate information and assistance in choosing the nursing center.
Principal Responsibilities
Regularly and customarily spends majority of his/her time engaged in growing admissions.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of the center’s products, services, capabilities and physician relations.
Takes an active role in morning Kick-Off Meeting.
Meets weekly with Administrator/department heads to discuss marketing issues.
Meets regularly with nursing to discuss clinical service levels.
Evaluates center physical environment through weekly rounds and discusses with Administrator.
Maintains an educated understanding of all payer sources and their impact on revenue.
Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, health care or related business field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years direct sales experience targeted to physicians, hospital personnel and case managers preferred.
Proven success in personally developing referrals for a medical product from health care target markets (physicians, hospitals and case managers).
Evidence of a local referral network from which to develop referrals.
Professional image in both appearance and behavior, exhibiting high self-confidence, enthusiasm, assertiveness and a desire to succeed.
Must be a team player and have the ability to establish working relationships both internally and externally.
Experience with local community groups preferred.
