Position Summary The Marketing Liaison serves as the primary marketing and relationship‑management lead for the organization’s skilled nursing dialysis and ventilator specialty programs. This role focuses on driving census growth in dialysis‑dedicated and ventilator beds by developing referral pipelines, nurturing nephrologist, Pulmonologist and hospital relationships, and acting as the external‑facing brand ambassador for our programs. The Liaison partners closely with internal teams, external clinics, and hospital case managers to position the organization as a destination of choice for complex dialysis and ventilator patients.

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Marketing, Nursing, or related field preferred.

Experience:

2–5 years of experience in dialysis and or vent care within skilled nursing industry

Strong existing network with nephrologists, hospitalists, and dialysis clinic administrators preferred.

Skilled in referral generation and conversion, census building, and territory marketing strategies.

Essential Functions

Serve as the primary liaison to nephrologists, pulmonologist, dialysis clinics, and hospital case managers for Sterling Heights and Southfield programs, while supporting all MIS specialty program marketing.

Identify, cultivate, and manage high‑potential referral sources to grow census in dialysis‑designated and ventilator units.

Coordinate and conduct bedside sales visits, hospital rounds, and return‑to‑hospital follow-up.

Track and report census trends, referral volumes, and admission conversion for dialysis and vent patients.

Relationship Management

Establish and maintain high‑impact relationships with local nephrologists, pulmonologists, social workers, and outpatient dialysis providers.

Coordinate mutual referral strategies with OP dialysis centers, physician offices and pulmonary specialty offices.

Act as primary point of contact for internal and external marketing efforts in collaboration with Concerto or other joint partners.

Program Promotion & Education

Educate referring hospitals, physicians, and discharge planners on our facility’s dialysis and vent capabilities, care model, and specialty offerings.

Represent the dialysis and vent programs at community events, hospital meetings, and physician outreach forums.

Support vent/trach and high‑acuity case marketing as needed, coordinating closely with internal clinical and business development leads.

Operational Support & Collaboration

Collaborate with admissions, clinical, and case management teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and referral responsiveness.

Provide weekly updates and feedback to leadership on market conditions, referral source behavior, and census opportunities.

Assist with building digital and physical marketing collateral relevant to the dialysis and vent program’s capabilities and outcomes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Deep understanding of dialysis and vent treatment workflows, patient care coordination, and SNF interface.

Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.

Self‑driven with excellent territory planning and follow‑through capabilities.

Ability to communicate clinical value and program differentiation to both laypersons and clinicians.

Comfortable with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and referral tracking platforms.

Performance Metrics

Dialysis and vent census growth in Sterling Heights and Southfield as well as all MIS locations with these specialty programs

Referral source activation and conversion rates

Number of provider touchpoints per week (e.g., nephrologist visits, on‑sites)

Shared referral volume with OP dialysis partners

Successful readmission recovery for RTH patients
