Position Overview This position is responsible for creating compelling visual stories across multiple platforms, using videography and photography to support the college’s marketing and communication goals. The Videographer/Photographer will produce, edit, and deliver high‑quality video and photography content for use on web, social media, digital, and print publications. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications High degree of video production and post‑production skills Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Photo Mechanic; experience with After Effects Experience with Canon mirrorless cameras, professional audio and lighting equipment Experience with project management systems; Asana preferred Knowledge of social media platforms and content production for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to interview senior‑level executives Excellent time management and ability to work independently Ability to transport and set up equipment up to 40 lbs. Experience working successfully within a creative team environment Duties and Responsibilities I. Plan, Produce and Edit Videos – Plan shoots, write scripts, interview subjects, execute filming, sound, lighting, and motion graphics; collaborate with creative team; limited travel (70% of time). II. Plan, Shoot and Edit Photography – Scout locations, select and coach talent, photograph and light scenes; support special events and library needs (15% of time). III. Digital Asset Management (DAM) – Establish, implement, and train staff on a DAM tool; create tagging system; manage searchable archive (15% of time). Physical Demands Work in a normal office environment; transport and set up video/photography equipment up to 40 lbs.
