Overview
Senior Designer / Animator - Remote – Apply to create bold, high-impact visuals for NewFronts, Upfronts, Originals, and high-profile brand events. This is a hands‑on design and animation role based on the West coast, remote.
Responsibilities
- Concept, design, and animate compelling visual assets for NewFronts/Upfronts, Original campaigns, and high-profile brand events – from static keyframes, storyboards, title logo design and animated intros, to full-motion sequences.
- Execute both 2D and 3D animation work, combining strong design fundamentals with technical skill and creative storytelling.
- Translate creative briefs into visually cohesive designs that reflect brand identity and campaign goals.
- Animate product feature or explainer content with the ability to make UI design exciting and cinematic.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director and Senior Editors to establish look, tone, and pacing across deliverables.
- Own projects from design through animation and final delivery, applying feedback efficiently and with strong creative judgment.
- Execute original design work and animation using existing brand toolkits and templates as needed.
- QC all motion and static assets to ensure visual, color, and technical accuracy across formats.
- Manage organized project files, design systems, and renders to support efficient workflows.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in motion design and static design, ideally across brand, entertainment, and sports campaigns.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator; strong working knowledge of Premiere Pro and Cinema 4D (or similar 3D tools) is a plus.
- Proven ability to design and animate for multiple aspect ratios and platforms (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, etc.).
- Strong eye for composition, typography, and visual hierarchy – and how those elements translate into motion.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to self‑QC both design and animation work.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with creative leadership.
- A portfolio showcasing excellence in both design and animation craft, with a clear sense of storytelling and brand fluency.
Compensation
Pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
