We are looking for a Public Relations Coordinator to support communication efforts, coordinate client‑facing initiatives, and help strengthen community and partner relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating public-facing initiatives and community engagement activities.
  • Support internal communication efforts to ensure consistent messaging across departments.
  • Prepare materials, talking points, schedules, and documentation for PR-related activities.
  • Maintain organized records of outreach efforts, partnerships, and communication logs.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, partners, and community contacts.
  • Collaborate with different departments to support communication and event needs.
  • Provide general administrative support to the PR and communications team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Professional, polished demeanor and strong teamwork skills.
  • Must reside locally and be available for on-site work in Charlotte, NC.
