We’re seeking aSocial Media Managerwith5+ years of experience within Artist Management Companiesoverseeing artist brands and digital strategy in themusic industry— ideally withinPop, Top 40, and/or Electronicgenres. This role is for someone who understands theentire social media and music landscape, frompre-TikTok platformsto today’s video-first culture.
You’ll work closely with Artist and their internal teams to lead content strategy, execute daily social tasks, and create meaningful engagement across platforms includingTikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter/X, Snapchat, Facebook, Discord, and Fan Pages.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experiencein social media and brand strategy for Artist Management companies. Preferable candidate +5 years working across an Artist Management team for an Artist with Millions of engaged fans/followers in the Pop / Top40 / Electronic space.
- Deep understanding of the music industry — both culturally and digitally — and how to navigate fan culture, influencer trends, and platform evolution.
- Exceptionalcopywriting and storytelling skillswith a tone that feelsauthentic, conversational, and music-savvy.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple social calendars, campaigns, and timelines simultaneously.Must be able to take on high volume while maintaining oversight ofstrategic planningwithhands-on content creation and execution.
- Team player, required. Must be able to communicate clearly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Brand Development
- Develop and implement customizedsocial media strategiesaligned with Artist’s brand, identity, and career highlights - while being able to identify growth opportunities and implement tactics across established and emerging platforms.
- Translate broader music marketing and branding goalsinto compelling digital campaigns. Stay current on platform updates, trends, and algorithm changes to ensure strategy evolves with the digital landscape.
Content Creation & Execution
- Plan, draft, and schedule Artist forward posts — including voice/copy and content. Ensure Artist voice remains consistent, authentic, and artist-aligned.
- Develop creative, culture-savvy campaigns around music releases, collaborations, touring, brand campaigns, and broader industry happenings. Proactively monitor conversations and trends to position artists in relevant digital
- Maintain a detailed and well-organized content calendar for Artist and wider teams.
Analytics & Optimization
- Manage audience growth and fan engagement, fostering authentic connections with fans and Artist peers.Track performance across platforms, deliver regular reporting, and provide actionable insights.
- Test and refine creative approaches, formats, and posting schedules for continuous growth. Understand and leverage social tactics to support organic strategy where needed.
