This essential position will spearhead the creation of a centralized communications function, ensuring strategic alignment and fostering a consistent brand voice. The CCO will focus on audience-centric messaging and serve as the editorial lead for powerful caregiver storytelling. In this role, you will oversee the development of comprehensive, data-driven communications strategies that raise awareness about the organization's mission and initiatives. You'll manage a full communications ecosystem that includes the website, social media, and press outreach. Additionally, you will act as a proactive advisor to the executive team on all matters related to communications, marketing, and brand engagement. To succeed in this position, candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of diverse communications experience, complemented by a robust background in leading communications, brand advocacy, and marketing campaigns. A bachelor’s degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred. Experience linked to the military, veteran community, or caregiving is highly valued. The ideal candidate will be a confident and persuasive leader, a creative storyteller, and will possess a data-driven mindset focused on measurement.
