We are ODAA (Oh-Dah)! We are an exciting, design‑focused Architecture and Interiors practice spanning both the commercial and residential sectors based in DTLA. We have a strong collaborative culture that fosters creative energy and design solutions that all team members contribute to. We strive to inspire and support our clients from the beginning to the end of the process.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Masters of Architecture degree.
8–12 years of experience practicing architecture.
Experience in all project phases, coordination with consultants, interaction with clients and project managers, and site‑related experience.
Strong design and visualization skills with the ability to combine into graphic presentations.
Strong 3D modeling skills in Rhino, Revit, or SketchUp to produce presentation‑level imagery.
Strong technical material specification and detailing skills.
City permitting experience.
Interior Design experience is a bonus.
Clear and open communication.
Self‑motivated on assigned and unassigned tasks.
Willingness to learn.
Collaborative.
Can work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
Can manage fast‑paced deadlines.
Strong organizational abilities.
Has software proficiency in Revit, Enscape (or similar), Adobe Suite, and Bluebeam.
Must live in Los Angeles and be eligible to work in the United States.
Professional duties include participation in conceptual design and providing full support throughout the entire project. Liaises with clients, project managers, other architects, consultants, and contractors. Develops and represents the lead technical viewpoint on projects. Coordinates with the director and department head on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies.
Benefits Salary is commensurate with education level, professional experience, and demonstrated knowledge. ODAA offers competitive benefits including a flexible health plan, an IRA with company matching, two weeks of paid vacation, an office closure between Christmas and New Year, paid holidays, and sick leave. ODAA also supports licensure and continuing education.
Remote Work ODAA currently offers remote access every Friday. The remainder of the week is expected to be in person at our studio in DTLA.
