Position Title: Scripted TV Intern
FLSA: Non-Exempt/Part-time; up to 30 hours a week max
Location: Los Angeles, CA (on-site)
Rate: $17.87/hourly

CJ ENM has played a key role in not only leading Korea's culture and content in entertainment for the past 25 years, but also continues to grow the expansion of Korean entertainment globally.
Summary of Position:
CJ ENM America is currently seeking an intern to join the Scripted TV department, with a strong desire to learn about the global television industry and scripted series development with the opportunity to participate in creative processes. The ideal candidate will be pursuing (or recently graduated with) a degree in film, media studies, or English / creative writing, is in their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year, and has experience with script coverage and familiarity with US and global content. This is a paid part time internship that is located in-office in LA.

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing creative materials (scripts, novels, webtoons, etc.) and providing strong written feedback or coverage for development executives.
- Researching potential project ideas and trending topics to aid in creative development.
- (If bilingual) Translating (Korean to English and/or vice versa) and localizing creative documents.
- Create visual decks and potential talent lists for current projects in development.
- Update master contact database and other general admin duties as needed.
- Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess unrestricted work authorization.
- Fluency in Korean (reading, writing, and speaking) is not a requirement, but a plus.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Google, Dropbox, Adobe, Airtable, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
