The Customs Entry Writer is responsible for the processing of customs clearances for imports. They will ensure that regulations, standards, and tracking of shipments is maintained and communicated to customers and clients. The Customs Entry Writer will provide accurate documentation and record-keeping for data and documents to ensure timely and accurate statuses are provided with timely client billing and invoicing. Responsibilities

  • Process customs clearances for imports, adhering to all relevant customs regulations and company standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct Importer Security Filing.
  • Track and trace shipments to ensure information is up-to-date.
  • Communicate directly with clients, freight forwarders, and other related parties through email and phone.
  • Manage documentation and archive records and documents efficiently.
  • Oversee data management for client reports.
  • Ensure timely billing and invoicing for clients.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the customs field is preferred (0–3 years).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual ability in English and Korean is required.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED

Salary: The base salary range for this role is between $50,000 - $67,000 yearly, and your base salary will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
