We are hiring a Content Specialist in Austin, TX. You will plan, create, and optimize content that attracts high‑intent audiences, educates buyers, and drives pipeline for Silktide.
Where you will work
Spend three days per week in our Downtown Austin office; remaining days are for focused work. You will also collaborate with teammates in the UK, Denmark, Germany, and Australia.
What You Will Do
Strategy and Planning
- Build and maintain an editorial calendar aligned to ICPs, buyer stages, and business priorities
- Partner with Product Marketing and Growth to define topics, angles, and success metrics
Creation and Storytelling
- Write clear, persuasive content: blog posts, guides, landing pages, emails, webinars, and ad copy
- Produce customer stories and proof: case studies, quotes, and short video scripts
SEO and Distribution
- Optimize content for search intent, structure, and internal linking
- Work with Growth to promote content across email, social, partners, and events
Web and Conversion
- Collaborate on landing pages and site copy to improve clarity and conversion
- Test headlines, CTAs, and layouts to raise visit‑to‑lead rates
Quality and Accessibility
- Own voice, tone, and consistency across channels with a practical style guide
- Ensure content meets accessibility best practices and is easy to scan and understand
Measurement and Iteration
- Track performance with dashboards for traffic, rankings, engagement, and pipeline influenced
- Analyze what works, share insights, and double down on winners
About You
- Resident of Austin, TX (or willing to relocate) and fluent in English
- 3–5+ years of B2B content or product marketing experience, ideally in SaaS
- Strong portfolio that shows crisp writing, structure, and storytelling for technical topics
- Solid grasp of SEO fundamentals and keyword intent
- Comfortable in a CMS, light HTML, and using analytics tools like GA4
- Organized editor who can manage timelines and stakeholders
- Collaborative partner to Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
- Familiarity with accessibility and plain‑language principles is a plus

- Base salary: $75,000 - $95,000
