Job Description

AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an Architecture Designer V in Boston, MA.

Job details:

Provide architectural guidance, calculations, analysis, studies and recommendations for specialized segments of the Architectural Discipline within the schedules and budget of an assigned project

Manage various sized groups of architects, designers, and specialists

Provide primary design, visualization and renderings for projects in all stages of design

Provide primary design, program analysis and visualization including videos for proposal and RFQ responses for transportation projects including airports and transit facilities

Provide scripting for parametric geometries and solutions for complex building, facades and processes

Coordinate scripting with construction administration and subcontractors to allow for seamless fabrication and construction

Provide building analysis including solar, energy and thermal envelope detailing

Provide terminal planning of buildings in conjunction with leading both airside and landside design direction

Provide building budget analysis, target value design and give direction for redesign to budget for building projects in all design disciplines

Work in a BIM/Revit environment, using Grasshopper, Rhino, Autodesk and Adobe Suite Software

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Master's degree in Architecture or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Position requires:

Providing architectural guidance, performing calculations, analysis, and studies

Providing recommendations for architectural planning and redesign within schedule and budget of assigned projects in all phases of design and construction

Coordinating groups of architects, designers, and specialists

Providing primary design, visualization and renderings for projects in all stages of design

Providing program analysis and visualization including videos for proposal and RFQ responses for airports and transit facilities

Scripting for parametric geometries and solutions for complex building, facades and processes

Providing building analysis including solar, energy and thermal envelope detailing

Terminal planning of buildings in conjunction with leading both airside and landside design direction

Budget analysis, target value design and giving direction for redesign

Revit, Dynamo, Rhino, Skechup, Grasshopper, Autocad, Enscape, or Veras

BIM 360, Glue, Navisworks, and Depthmap

Passenger experience focused design including space syntax and wayfinding

Contract Drawing and Specification management including in CM at Risk and Design Build environment

NFPA 415

NFPA 285

Aviation architecture and planning, including international terminal, baggage, ULD and GSE

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $123552 to $186750.
