Sales & Marketing Manager - South Carolina
Our client is seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to lead sales activities in the United States. This role will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, driving new business growth, and supporting marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, customer-focused, and experienced in the wire & cable or metal industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to grow market share.
Manage and expand relationships with key customers in the wire & cable industry.
Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and emerging customer needs.
Prepare sales forecasts, market analyses, and regular performance reports.
Lead pricing proposals, contract negotiations, and long-term agreements.
Maintain accurate sales pipeline and customer information in the CRM system.
Utilize SAP ERP for sales-related functions such as order entry, pricing, and reporting.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Support marketing initiatives including product materials, presentations, and trade show participation.
Travel up to 80% for customer visits, industry events, and field activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus.
5–6 years of experience in the wire & cable industry or relevant experience in the metal industry.
Strong B2B sales background with experience managing large or strategic accounts.
Experience using SAP for sales functions.
Experience with CRM platforms for pipeline management and forecasting.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across the U.S.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of copper conductor products, AWG sizing, stranding types, and industry specifications.
Understanding of metal pricing, market dynamics, and customer buying behaviors.
Experience working in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.
