JR4813STV is seeking an experienced **Senior Architectural Designer** who will support a critical **Buildings** project in the **NY Metro area.**
The successful candidate must have experience with large public projects in an urban environment and possess **a minimum of 8 years**’ experience.**Key responsibilities include:*** Provide support on Architectural Design work from programming and concept design through construction documentation for projects requiring interface and collaboration with various disciplines and consultants.* Support in Day-to-Day coordination with architectural project team and other design disciplines.* Elevate topics as needed to Design Manager(s).* Prepare architectural drawings, utilizes a strong knowledge of building technology; and/or supervises their execution for all phases of a project.* Participating in, or leading project-specific marketing/proposal preparation and presentations.**Required Skills:*** A Professional Degree in Architecture is required with 15 + years of experience.* Proficiency with BIM / Revit, Blue Beam and Microsoft Office Suite are required.* OpenBuildings, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, is a plus.* Excellent design, presentation skills, both verbal and visual is required.The candidate should be a self-starter with a passion for problem solving, and an understanding that project success comes through teamwork, and a firm focus on client needsCompensation Range:$102,271.92 - $136,362.56STV offers the following benefits • Health insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable) • Disability insurance • Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment • 401(k) Plan • Retirement Counseling • Employee Assistance Program • Paid Time Off (16 days) • Paid Holidays (8 days) • Back-Up Dependent Care (up to 10 days per year) • Parental Leave (up to 80 hours) • Continuing Education Program • Professional Licensure and Society MembershipsSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
