STV is seeking an experienced
Senior Architectural Designer
who will support a critical
Buildings
project in the
NY Metro area.
The successful candidate must have experience with large public projects in an urban environment and possess a minimum of 8 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support on architectural design work from programming and concept design through construction documentation for projects requiring interface and collaboration with various disciplines and consultants.
Support day‑to‑day coordination with the architectural project team and other design disciplines.
Escalate topics as needed to Design Manager(s).
Prepare architectural drawings, utilizing a strong knowledge of building technology, and/or supervise their execution for all phases of a project.
Participate in or lead project‑specific marketing/proposal preparation and presentations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Professional degree in Architecture with 15+ years of experience.
Proficiency with BIM/Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with OpenBuildings, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp is a plus.
Excellent design, presentation, verbal, and visual communication skills.
The candidate should be a self‑starter with a passion for problem solving, an understanding that project success comes through teamwork, and a firm focus on client needs.
Compensation $102,271.92 – $136,362.56
