Omelet is seeking a highly talented, creative and motivated Editor and Motion Graphics Artist to join our fast-paced creative team. This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, CA, and requires a flexible individual who can thrive in both collaborative, in-person environments and efficient remote work setups. The ideal candidate is a rapid, versatile editor and a clear communicator who can manage their own post-production workflow when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Video Editing: Execute quick-turnaround, high-quality video edits across a diverse range of genres (e.g., short-form digital content, comedy, docu, BTS needs etc).
  • Motion Graphics: Design and animate compelling motion graphics, titles, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and production value. 
  • Workflow Management: Serve as a self-sufficient post-producer when required, managing assets, meeting deadlines, and ensuring project delivery.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively within a small, agile team environment, offering creative input and adapting quickly to evolving project needs.
  • Communication: Maintain excellent communication with team members regarding project status, technical needs, and creative decisions.
  • Hybrid Work: Be willing to commute for in-person work/meetings as needed in Los Angeles, while also maintaining a reliable and efficient remote editing setup.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience in an agency or in-house production team 
  • Expert Proficiency: Full and demonstrated mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro for editing and Adobe After Effects for motion graphics.
  • Speed and Versatility: Proven ability to edit quickly and efficiently across various content genres.
  • Organizational Skills: Experience managing complex projects and acting as a post-producer/project manager.
  • Team Player: Comfortable working in fast-paced, small team settings.
Highly Desired Experience (A Big Plus)
  • 3D Software Proficiency: Experience with any 3D animation or rendering software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, etc.).
  • Content Creation: Hands-on experience as a Videographer and/or Photographer.
Bonus (Helpful but not Required)
  • Familiarity with media asset management (MAM) systems such as Iconik
  • Experience using cloud-based collaboration tools like Frame.io for review and approval.
  • AI video prompting and creation as well as working with AI footage.
