JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Coordinator supports the marketing department in executing campaigns, managing projects, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels. This role involves coordinating marketing activities, tracking performance metrics, and assisting with content creation for digital and traditional platforms. The Marketing Coordinator works closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver effective marketing strategies that drive engagement and support business objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Update Social Media postings (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) on a daily basis; monitor engagement and comments
Assist with social media video production editing
Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
Ensure timely delivery of campaign assets and adherence to deadlines
Other responsibilities as needed:
Creating Shutterfly books for sponsors (when requested by directors)
Spearheading SDCBA marketing of community projects (Clothing Drive, Food Drive, Toys for Tots)
Point of contact for Law-related organizations (specific to marketing needs/collaborations)
Serve as the primary
marketing
contact for the LRIS, Leadership Academy, and DFP programs
Website:
Updating and maintaining website content, including:
Monthly updates to the Wellness page
Homepage refreshes (e.g., “Why I Belong,” event highlights)Building new pages as needed
Updating policy manuals and member benefit pages
Updating PPAC statements
Media & Communications:
Ability to draft press releases and news stories; serve as an additional resource for media relations requests.
Requirements Qualifications:
AA/BA in marketing, journalism, or similar field of interest
1-2 years' experience in marketing, journalism or similar field
Working knowledge of the following required:
Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) including creating posts, stories, reels, and carousels.
Social Media Video Production and Editing (FinalCut Pro, Capcut, DaVinci Resolve or the like, for reels and short form content.)
Knowledge of current Social Media and Email Marketing Best Practices
Office 365 (Word, Teams, Outlook)
Email Marketing (Using tools similar to mailchimp)
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Adobe CS Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
Professional, polished public speaking ability; comfortable in the public eye
