Every year, companies spend over a trillion dollars moving freight across the U.S.—but for the carriers actually moving that freight, the process of finding and booking loads is still noisy, impersonal, and frustrating. FleetWorks is fixing that. We’re building voice agents that transform the chaotic freight booking process into a modern, intelligent marketplace. To succeed, we need to meet carriers where they are, speak their language, and build a brand they trust implicitly.
This is where you come in. We’re looking for an ownership-minded marketer to build our carrier marketing engine from the ground up. You will be a true owner of the FleetWorks Carrier voice, interacting directly with the trucking community, managing our public presence, and shaping how the industry perceives us. Whether you are behind the camera or managing the talent that is, you will be the bridge between our product and the people who use it.
In this role, you’ll be the face of FleetWorks to our carrier community. You’ll obsess over how well they know, adopt and recommend FleetWorks. You’ll build content and programs that interact directly with carriers, manage our public presence across channels, and shape how the trucking community perceives us.
What You’ll Do
Craft the voice of the FleetWorks Carrier Product: Work with the executive team to craft a brand persona that is "intimidatingly competent yet welcoming"—a voice that commands respect in the industry but welcomes newcomers.
Define our content approach and social presence: ship content daily, whether in front of the camera yourself or by identifying and managing a brand face. Manage accounts across platforms like TikTok, Reddit, X, Facebook, and beyond.
Build the community: engage with comments, DMs, and posts across the web to build relationships and trust with carriers. Determine the role IRL touchpoints play in building carrier community.
Drive growth through influence: manage relationships with content creators and industry influencers to expand reach. Build and manage a referral program that accelerates how carriers talk about FleetWorks with peers.
Drive product signups and engagement: use channels to drive interest and engagement in the carrier product.
Manage carrier communication programs including referrals: own our email calendar and collaborate with carrier ops and product marketing teams to optimize communications and scale WOM through referral and reviews programs.
Close the product loop: synthesize word‑of‑mouth feedback from social channels and communities to inform product decisions.
Leverage AI: use AI tools to speed up content workflows without sacrificing quality or authenticity.
What We Look For
Past experience in the trucking industry is a bonus, but not required.
Experience managing and growing social media accounts with a track record of building audiences and increasing engagement across major platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X, etc.).
Fast iteration and tracking: growth hacking mindset with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
Content creation & strategy: experience producing high-quality content (video, graphics, copy) and managing editorial calendars.
A builder mindset: entrepreneurial and capable of building a brand from scratch.
Experimentation & A/B testing: proactive experimentation to optimize campaigns.
Tool proficiency: experience with modern marketing stacks, CRM systems, analytics tools, and creative software.
On-camera comfort: readiness to be the face of the brand or the ability to identify and coordinate someone who is.
How We’ll Get To Know Each Other
Quick call with a member of the people team to align goals and experience.
Content portfolio / audit: share examples of communities you’ve built or content you’ve created.
Live strategy session: 45-minute session with a founder to brainstorm ideas for a launch campaign or brand voice.
Paid work trial: a short, paid project to draft content or outline a creator strategy.
Reference check: conversations with references to understand how to best support your development.
Transparent offer: clearly outlining cash, equity, and value.
What We Offer
Top-tier cash and equity compensation: aim to be above the 75th percentile for high-growth startups.
Competitive benefits: medical, dental, and vision.
Remote flexibility: work from anywhere in the Midwest, with travel as needed to spread the word about FleetWorks.
High-velocity growth: opportunity to learn quickly, shape a brand from scratch, and be rewarded for impact.
