Growth and Community Marketing, Carriers
Join FleetWorks as the Growth and Community Marketing, Carriers specialist.
Every year, companies spend over a trillion dollars moving freight across the U.S., but for the carriers actually moving that freight, the process of finding and booking loads is still noisy, impersonal, and frustrating. FleetWorks is fixing that.
We’re building voice agents that transform the chaotic freight booking process into a modern, intelligent marketplace. To succeed, we need to meet carriers where they are, speak their language, and build a brand they trust implicitly.
This role will have you as the owner of FleetWorks’ Carrier voice—interacting directly with the trucking community, managing our public presence, and shaping how the industry perceives us. You’ll build content and programs that interact directly with carriers, manage our public presence across channels, and positively influence the community.
What You’ll Do
Craft the voice of the FleetWorks Carrier Product, working with the executive team to create an "intimidatingly competent yet welcoming" persona.
Define our content approach and social presence, shipping content daily, whether it involves you in front of the camera or managing a brand face.
Build the community by engaging with comments, DMs, and posts across the web, and determining how in‑person touchpoints build trust.
Drive growth through influence by identifying and managing relationships with content creators and industry influencers.
Drive product signups and engagement through whichever channels accelerate interest in the carrier product.
Manage carrier communication programs, including referrals, owning the email calendar and collaborating with ops and product marketing.
Close the product loop, synthesizing word‑of‑mouth feedback from social channels to help the product team build what carriers need.
Leverage AI to speed up content workflows while preserving quality and authenticity.
What We Look For
Past trucking industry experience a bonus, but not required.
Experience managing and growing social media accounts with a proven record of building audiences across major platforms.
A growth‑hacking mindset, using A/B testing and experimentation to optimize campaigns.
Content creation and strategy experience, producing high‑quality video, graphics, and copy and managing editorial calendars.
A builder mindset, entrepreneurial, comfortable building a brand from scratch.
Proficiency with modern marketing stacks and creative software.
On‑camera comfort or network to identify a suitable brand face.
How We’ll Get To Know Each Other
Quick call with Bailey or Megan to discuss goals and alignment.
Content portfolio or audit showcasing communities built or content created.
Live strategy session, 45‑minute with a founder to brainstorm launch ideas or brand voice.
Paid work trial: a short, paid project to draft content or outline a creator strategy.
