Architectural Designer (On‑Site)

Description:

The Architectural Designer is responsible for design and production of construction documents for limited‑scope projects, under the supervision of a Sr. Project Coordinator, Project Architect, or Project Manager. The role involves basic design, setting up, and coordination of documents based on standard architectural practices and applicable codes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and 1 to 7 years of experience in an architectural firm or field.

General knowledge of REVIT, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and SketchUp.

Basic understanding of architecture, building construction, and building codes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in the production of construction documents and specifications.

Maintain general knowledge of methods, materials, and detailing.

Complete designated scope of work within allotted time and budget.

Assist with permitting process, including response to comments.

Assist with administrative tasks for bidding procedures and construction administration.

Participate in site visits.

Skills

Research and apply applicable basic code issues.

Coordinate with engineering disciplines.

Basic presentation skills.
