Job Duties & Responsibilities Design Implementation
Adapt, scale and execute the store design vision and strategy across the DICK’s Sporting Goods stores portfolio.
Lead a design process focusing on brand standards and business strategy, creating 3D models, 2D drawings, presentations, and details that effectively communicate design intent.
Drive design process and best practices to ensure creative intent and deliverables are met.
Create, refine, and evolve environmental design components across the full portfolio.
Work across multiple large‑scale projects simultaneously, prioritizing and balancing workload.
Ensure accuracy of plans before releasing them to the architect of record.
Provide design solutions within budget and raise awareness when risks arise.
Coordination & Communication
Serve as the central point of communication for plan development, providing updates to Architects, Construction Project Managers, and Visual Merchandising.
Implement and coordinate requests for changes that apply to assigned projects.
Incorporate business strategies and metrics into consumer‑engaging store layouts and fixture compositions.
Act as the key point of contact for site condition related issues and coordinate solutions with all partners.
Communicate and present design concepts to the Design Director and VP.
Coordinate with outside fixture vendors on new fixtures and provide fixture takeoff information using Revit software.
Provide the Procurement Team with accurate plans and data for ordering fixtures, mannequins, and graphics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
5‑7 years experience in Architecture, Interior Design, or Retail design industry/environments.
Proficiency in Revit BIM software, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp.
Experience with V‑Ray and Enscape is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a design studio and deliver complex projects.
Expertise in concepting, ideation, spatial design, and space planning layouts.
Knowledge of production design, fabrication, materiality, and emerging trends.
Highly collaborative, able to work within a team and independently.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Targeted Pay Range $67,100.00 - $109,000.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that may include incentive, equity, and benefits. Individual pay is determined by experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensure competitive and equitable pay.
