Athletics Marketing Assistant
Inside Higher Ed invites application for the Athletics Marketing Assistant position at Brown University through its Athletics and Recreation department. This is an 11‑month part‑time seasonal role with a scheduled weekly commitment of 10 hours, primarily scheduled on weekdays afternoon/evenings and weekends. Job Location & Schedule: Brown University campus, Providence, RI. Work type: Employee, seasonal/intermittent fixed term, part time. Scheduled weekly hours: 10 hours. Work location: Onsite. Responsibilities
Assist with specific game‑day preparation tasks. Coordinate and execute in‑game promotions, including selecting contestants and bringing them onto the field/court. Set up and take down equipment. Interact with fans in a friendly manner. Be knowledgeable about the event taking place. Assist with handling the mascot, Bruno, when necessary. Qualifications
Previous experience in a fast‑paced environment. Willingness to learn the basic rules of sporting events. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment. Weekday afternoon/evening and weekend availability. Team‑oriented mindset. Desire to learn. Benefits
