Instructional Designer II

Role Description As an Instructional Designer II based in our St. Louis office, you will partner with senior leaders and subject‑matter experts to develop high‑impact learning solutions—including eLearning modules, instructor‑led content, and blended programs—using advanced instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE. You will lead projects independently, ensuring accessibility compliance, engaging delivery, and alignment with business goals.
Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Human Resources, Management & Organizational Studies, or a related field (e.g., Psychology, Business Administration) is preferred.
Required Qualifications
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
3+ years of instructional or learning experience design in a corporate environment.
Advanced proficiency with Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise).
Demonstrated ability to lead learning projects with minimal supervision.
Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship‑building skills across all organizational levels.
Experience with LMS platforms and SCORM‑compliant content development.
Skilled in adult learning theory and learning evaluation frameworks.
Familiarity with instructional accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG).
Attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, strong time management, and capacity to manage multiple high‑volume projects.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 and relevant collaboration tools.
Candidates outside the St. Louis metro area may work remotely or from a regional office; St. Louis candidates must be willing to work a hybrid schedule (minimum three days per week in the St. Louis Corporate Office).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience translating complex concepts into clear learning content.
Ability to provide peer feedback and contribute to quality assurance and best practices.
Proven track record of aligning training with organizational goals and metrics.
Total Rewards The compensation package includes a base salary of $75,000 to $97,500, holiday bonus, and incentive awards.
