Associate Designer - Architecture
Pay Range $60,000.00/yr – $65,000.00/yr
About the Role We are a fast‑paced, luxury interior architecture and design firm comprised of three distinct business divisions – residential and commercial design, product development, and hospitality. We seek a talented, organized, and driven professional with 3‑4 years of residential interior architecture experience to join our team as a full‑time Associate Designer. Successful candidates will work as part of a team of architects and designers to provide the utmost in design services and client experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in architecture / interior architecture
3‑4 post‑collegiate years of luxury residential and/or luxury commercial experience
Success Profile
Excellent graphic skills (i.e., Sketching, AutoCAD, Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite)
Ability to prioritize competing project demands
Excellent follow‑through
Client service mentality
Mentor and assist less‑experienced design team members as needed
Executive presence
Ability to quickly establish an open, trusting relationship
Quick thinking during client dialogue
Duties and Responsibilities
Organizing conceptual boards and conducting research to find relevant images
Drawing plans, elevations, sections, RFCP
Selecting colors and materials
Selecting furniture and fabric
Keeping material and contents from the project organized and documented properly
Maintaining budget throughout the selection process
Paving patterns
Specifications sheets
Documenting and communicating notes from client meetings
Ensuring project design direction is clearly followed and deadlines are met
Planning and managing activities, timelines and resources for project (consulting Studio Leads before making major changes to scope or timing)
Client facing
