Sr Analyst Clinical Report Writer (Remote)

Purpose of Position
The Senior Analyst position is responsible for creating advanced reporting content by using industry-standard analytics tools for both clinical and financial operational divisions of Cape Cod Healthcare.
Responsibilities
Write interpretive clinical reports relevant to patient care and clinical operations.
Work with the clinical IT group to design and modify queries and reports, supporting both ad‑hoc and automated/scheduled reporting.
Utilize database software such as Sybase, SQL, MS Access, and others.
Analyze compatible report‑writer software and embed completed reports into the user’s front‑end application for on‑demand reporting.
Ensure an efficient and reliable environment through SQL standards and custom monitoring processes; proactively identify potential problems with automated processes and propose solutions.
Expand or modify business intelligence and analytics systems to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
Provide Help Desk services and documentation for troubleshooting issues related to running reports.
Maintain documentation on all report requests, specifications, version history, and duplicate reports in production and test.
Use computer analysis to solve business problems such as integrated production and inventory control and cost analysis systems.
Collaborate with clinical teams, managers, and senior managers to prioritize reporting requests according to CCHC data governance principles.
Install new versions of report‑writing software as needed to support application/database operations.
Perform other analytics‑related duties as assigned.
Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, coordinating installation as required.
Assess the usefulness of pre‑developed application packages and adapt them to user environments.
Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles such as service excellence for all patients, visitors, volunteers, and co‑workers.
Confer with clients on their information‑processing needs as they relate to requested reports.
Challenge current working practices to identify process‑improvement opportunities and present recommendations and solutions to management.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience working with MSSQL Server.
3+ years developing SQL queries using Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and above.
3+ years designing, writing, and maintaining Epic Analytics reports, dashboards, and metrics.
3+ years designing, writing, and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures.
Current Epic Cogito Analytics certifications.
Experience with Caboodle Data Model, Clarity Data Model, Cogito, and SlicerDicer preferred.
Ability to use complex expressions to calculate, group, filter, parameterize, optimize, and format custom reports.
Work effectively with all members of clinical and technical project teams.
Demonstrated project estimation experience.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through to completion.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a high degree of attention to detail and accurate processes.
Self‑motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) from an accredited four‑year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Schedule Details 40 Hours Per Week, Mon‑Fri, 8:00a‑4:00p
