Storytelling is central to how we shift public understanding of behavioral health, and in this role, you will translate our mission, research, and clinical work into compelling stories that elevate Kindbridge. You’ll lead communication strategies across press, digital platforms, thought leadership, and integrated marketing, while building and managing media relationships and strategic partnerships that open doors and broaden our reach.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute communication strategies that elevate Kindbridge
Oversee all communication channels, including media relations, digital platforms, and internal messaging, to ensure a cohesive brand voice
Create and guide high-impact content across press releases, video, blogs, reports, social media, newsletters, and thought leadership articles
Build and nurture strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers to increase national and local visibility
Serve as a spokesperson for Kindbridge in interviews, press opportunities, and public events
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with industry leaders, academic institutions, nonprofits, and government agencies
Negotiate and manage partnership agreements that advance organizational goals
Amplify research initiatives through compelling storytelling and strategic outreach
Partner closely with the CMO, CEO, and executive team to align messaging with organizational priorities
Provide leadership, mentorship, and creative guidance to communication team members
Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, HR, and operations to ensure unified and consistent brand alignment
Monitor, measure, and optimize communication efforts to drive greater reach, engagement, and impact
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
8+ years of experience in communications, PR/media relations, and partnership development, ideally within healthcare or behavioral health
Strong background in PR agency work and deep understanding of brand positioning
Established relationships with national and Colorado-based media outlets a plus
Demonstrated ability to build and manage multi-channel communication strategies across social, digital, print, and sponsorships
Skilled at pitching and selling stories, with the confidence to network, cold call, and build meaningful partnerships
Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
Experienced in identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships
Thrives on feedback and consistently pushes work to the next level
Highly organized and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities
