IEA, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Marketing Coordinator to join our team in our Dallas or Fort Worth offices. The Sr. Marketing Coordinator will report to the Marketing Manager and work within a team of Marketing and Engineering staff to complete proposals, graphics, and interview preparations within set deadlines.
The ideal candidate will be professional and have great organizational and interpersonal communication skills, with prior industry experience a plus. Computer skills include Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Suite. This will be a non-exempt position.
Responsibilities
Clear understanding of the RFQ/RFP process, preferably for the AEC industry in Texas
Understanding of AEC technical concepts
Track upcoming RFQ/Ps and associated informational meetings for assigned pursuits/clients
Supervision and guidance related largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters
In a supervisory capacity, plan, develop, coordinate complex features as subject matter expert working closely with pursuit managers, PMs, and task leads
Coordinate and lead pursuit-specific planning, brainstorming, and review meetings following IEA’s processes for 4-8 pursuits in varying stages
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, marketing, and other internal staff, and subconsultants to collect data, answer questions about assignments, and incorporate reviewer feedback into proposal drafts, as needed
Create and format IEA brochures and proposals using Adobe InDesign software
Lead data calls (exchange of qualification information) to and from clients in the AEC industry, as needed
Complete proposal forms for correctness/completeness (e.g., TxDOT, municipal, aviation, transit), as needed
Maintain corporate project descriptions, resumes, and other materials
Review materials prepared by other team members to ensure responsive, compliant, and quality submittals
Prepare presentations and collateral leave behind material for client meetings and coach presentation teams
Excellent attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills
Perform grammar reviews and copy-editing tasks at an intermediate level
Other marketing support, including graphics creation, IEA’s corporate newsletter, social media content, events, and promotional items, as needed
Attend industry events on behalf of IEA, as needed
Possess a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Successful collaboration with diverse personalities
Travel may be required, but minimal

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, English, or similar degree
Minimum of 6 years of related experience in the Architectural, Construction, Engineering (AEC) industry, preferably civil transportation, aviation, municipal, or construction management services
Experience working on TxDOT proposals, as well as Counties, Cities, and Federal
Skills
Strong InDesign and page layout skills
Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Proficient in graphic design skills
Organization – proactively prioritizes needs and effectively manages resources
Communication – effective and legible oral and written skills
Motivation – self-starter who can set high standards and deliver leading quality services
Detail-Oriented – checks their own work before sending drafts to team members
