Title: Director of Design , Children’s Plush, Gift Sets and Soft Accessories
Location: New York, NY Hybrid
An established and respected manufacturer of children's soft accessories and plush located in New York City is seeking a talented design director to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop designs and concepts for new products including plush, gift sets, blankets, bath,
Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure accuracy and completeness of all project information.
Deliver all artwork on time while adhering to brand guidelines and standards for both internal and licensed partnerbrands.
Prepare and verify all production files before they are sent to factories.
Participate in quarterly shopping trips to gather inspiration and market insights.
Work with cross-functional teams to conceptualize new product developments.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.
7+ years of experience in designing plush, accessories and children's products.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Photoshop/Illustrator.
Ability to create 3D renderings
Strong skills in creating original prints and incorporating personal artwork into designs.
