Project Architect MFDS is seeking an agile project architect (10+ years) to join our practice in Boston. Come join our office for an active and expansive role in the projects you take on, working in small teams to strategize, design, problem-solve, and execute on multiple projects.
Qualifications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and coordination skills
Technical proficiency, especially in Revit and drawing documentation
A proactive and balanced approach to design and project execution
Role & Responsibilities
An active and involved role in all phases of a project
Mentorship and oversight of junior staff
High level design collaboration with project lead
Research and application of municipal initiatives and zoning and building codes
Collaborating/coordinating with project lead and project manager on design solutions, overall objectives, and critical issues
Management and production of drawings and presentations
Construction administration
Internal and external communication with design team, clients, municipal agencies
Requirements
10+ years professional experience specifically in architecture
Professional degree in architecture
