Ability to grow and be flexible in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, with a bias toward action. Ability to travel as needed. The AI for Students and Learning Marketing team focuses on bringing Google’s products and brand to the next generation of users. We meet students where they are, creating authentic connections and memorable experiences that demonstrate how Google’s tools can be helpful in their lives. As a Student Ambassador Brand Marketing Manager, you will be a strategic marketer who excels at operationalizing and growing scaled student communities, to excite students about Google’s AI products and mobilize peer‑driven influence. You will understand the campus ecosystem, have insights into the student cultural zeitgeist, and be expert at running content engines to engage with student ambassadors. You will execute community management and collaborate effectively with internal and external teams and students. The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $137,000‑$201,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Manage the recruitment, training, and ongoing coordination of student brand ambassadors and volunteers. Build and drive a central engagement channel (e.g., website, community board, portal) and calendar as the singular platform to regularly deploy ambassador and broader student‑facing content, including new product awareness collateral, social toolkits, ambassador‑run event materials, upcoming ambassador milestones, etc. Coordinate internal communications with cross‑product area teams to curate or generate new product material ideas and drive creative execution. Synthesize student insights and feedback provided via student ambassadors, and translate them into actionable learnings for cross‑functional teams. Manage student ambassador activities (e.g., social posts, ambassador‑run events) and gather results for internal reporting.
