At Regions, the MarTech Strategy and Marketing Portfolio Senior Manager leads the development and implementation of marketing technology platforms and tools, collaborating with Marketing Communications on initiatives that require support from Technology, Data and Analytics, and Digital teams. This position contributes to Regions’ efforts in attracting new customers and ensuring relevant, effective experiences, and promotes data‑driven decision making for overall marketing strategy.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and deliver Regions’ marketing technology roadmap designed for ease of use, automation, and speed to market
Develop, drive, and implement marketing technology platforms and tools
Align efforts with Regions’ strategic vision of generating “always on” and personalized marketing offers
Ensure technology enables seamless digital customer experiences that are personalized and relevant
Manage annual budget, recommending adjustments as necessary based on research and evolving technology needs
Collaborate with key stakeholders on marketing technology needs
Continuously monitor trends and developments in the market, peers and related offerings and strategies
Manage adoption and change management related to migrations from legacy platforms to modernized platforms with enhanced capabilities
Collaborate with Risk to ensure proper risk reviews are conducted on proposed marketing technology platforms and tools
Manage compliance with internal and external policies, guidelines, and regulations
Collaborate with Marketing Communications to capture, summarize, score (value vs effort), and direct all Marketing initiatives requiring support from Technology, Data and Analytics, and/or Digital
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
Eight (8) years of experience in Marketing or related field, preferably in banking and/or financial services
Five (5) years of experience in project management
Five (5) years of experience leading enterprise initiatives
Experience with Agile methodologies and best practices
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional business groups
Preferences
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s in Marketing
Experience with business writing and/or RFP writing
Formal change management and/or project management certifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Skills and Competencies
Ability to develop future‑state vision for an organization and drive execution
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to supervise and manage a team
Advanced knowledge of industry and peer company products and services to develop strategic direction
Demonstrated leadership capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
Strong work ethic and self‑motivation

Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point‑of‑market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors that influence pay include experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and performance. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
Minimum Job Range Target: $149,338.20 USD
Median: $190,080.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans: Eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan and the Long Term Incentive Plan.
