Senior Director, Downstream Marketing, US Region BD Nogales Norte invites you to join as the Senior Director for Downstream Marketing in the US Region. In this role, you will work closely with the VP of Global Downstream Marketing to develop, execute, and lead the downstream marketing strategy for Pharmacy Automation across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Craft and communicate a clear, customer‑facing vision for Pharmacy Automation across all customer segments: Retail, Closed Door, Long Term Care Pharmacy, Health Systems, National Accounts and the Department of Defense.

Identify and prioritize growth opportunities within key customer segments.

Align marketing priorities with regional healthcare trends, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.

Ensure quality lead generation to drive commercial success for sales teams.

Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Upstream Marketing, Commercial Operations, Customer Service).

Design and execute a holistic omnichannel marketing strategy leveraging artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality technologies.

Plan, organize, and participate in industry trade‑shows and events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Lead product launches and oversee full product lifecycle management to maintain market relevance and profitability.

Deliver impactful sales enablement tools, collateral and other resources in partnership with Sales and Commercial Operations.

Define compelling value propositions addressing clinical, operational and financial benefits.

Create evidence‑based market segmentation and consistent messaging in a competitive landscape.

Execute BD Pharmacy Automation brand strategy for Parata and Rowa and develop annual marketing plans aligned with strategic objectives.

Support the US Regional Annual Strategic Review process.

Lead pricing strategy development and promotional activities to maximize commercial success.

Validate launch pricing and campaigns for rapid adoption and profitability.

Monitor product pricing effectiveness and competitive landscape for ongoing adjustments.

Lead market intelligence development, capture customer voice, competitive insights and emerging trends.

Translate insights into actionable strategies for product development and marketing execution.

Share market intelligence with stakeholders to drive innovation.

Build and mentor a high‑performing regional marketing team, fostering innovation, agility, and accountability.

Key Performance Indicators

Revenue growth across the Pharmacy Automation portfolio in the US.

Marketing Qualified Lead creation and conversion to sales opportunities.

Increased market share in strategic US segments.

Successful and timely product launches.

Campaign ROI and effectiveness (cost per lead per campaign).

Enhanced customer engagement, satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS).

Leadership effectiveness measured by team engagement and cross‑functional alignment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, science, engineering or related field (MBA preferred).

10+ years of experience in product marketing, with capital equipment or healthcare technology industry experience strongly preferred.

Proven record of successful commercial product launches.

Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Hands‑on experience with digital marketing campaign execution.

Understanding of automation platforms highly desirable.

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.

Strategic acumen, balancing high‑level planning and operational execution.

Exceptional relationship‑building and influencing skills across all organizational levels.

Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically.
