Live Streaming Solution Architect – Prime Video Prime Video is a first‑stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of devices. Prime members can customize their viewing experience and find their favorite movies, series, documentaries, and live sports – including Amazon MGM Studios‑produced series and movies, licensed fan favorites, and programming from Prime Video add‑on subscriptions such as Apple TV+, Max, Crunchyroll, and MGM+. All customers, whether they have a Prime membership or not, can rent or buy titles via the Prime Video Store and enjoy additional content for free with ads.

Key Responsibilities Prime Video is currently seeking a Live Video Solution Architect to work with external and internal technology partners to manage technical integration for live television channels. This role will focus on developing strong technical partnership with live broadcasters, cable networks, live media solution providers, AWS and Prime Video engineering teams. The Live Video Solution Architect will design and improve specifications and workflows for acquisition and ingestion of live video content, drive innovations in live broadcast at scale on Prime Video, and represent Prime Video to the wider digital video industry, contributing to working groups and helping to define future live broadcast standards.

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.

2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.

10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working within software development or Internet‑related industries.

Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.

Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
