Our Chicago office has an immediate opening for a Design Manager in Aviation.

Position Description Location: Chicago, IL (hybrid at Willis Tower)
Salary range: $110,000.00 – $122,000.00
Responsibilities
Develop and implement design standards, including selecting appropriate FF&E, finishes, and other design elements in partnership with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Collaborate with CRE project managers to develop and coordinate conceptual designs for executive and finance review/approval.
Work with internal collaborators to develop strategic design plans for improvements to internal and external facing spaces and for delivering new initiatives.
Manage time and workload effectively, prioritizing work based on leadership guidance.
Lead space planning, programming, and utilization calculations for client‑owned and/or maintained facilities across the network.
Open, review, and understand architectural plans from third‑party architects and engineers.
Provide subject‑matter expertise for new or evolving initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s in Interior Design and/or Architecture.
8+ years of relevant experience.
NCIDQ certified (preferred).
Familiarity with facility design, planning, or execution functions.
Knowledge of applicable design codes, including ADA.
Ability to be in office up to three days per week (Willis Tower, Chicago, IL).
Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Skills and Competencies
Knowledge of applicable design codes, including ADA.
Software skills: Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, and InDesign.
